Our Mission
Inspirations Dance & Academics is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating accessible opportunities for individuals of all abilities and income levels to learn, grow, and thrive.
Founded in Spokane, Washington in 2014 as an inclusive dance studio serving individuals with unique abilities and families facing financial barriers, Inspirations has grown into a broader community organization recognizing that support extends far beyond the dance studio. Through our work with families, we have seen a growing need for literacy, dyslexia intervention, academic support, and meaningful learning opportunities.
Today, Inspirations Dance & Academics brings these areas together under one umbrella, offering inclusive dance, after-school programs, tutoring, dyslexia and literacy support, summer learning programs, and other educational and enrichment opportunities.
Our goal is to remove barriers and create spaces where every individual—regardless of ability, learning difference, or financial circumstance—has the opportunity to discover their strengths, build confidence, develop new skills, and experience success.
We proudly serve families in the Spokane community and Cowlitz County, connecting movement, learning, and community to help individuals reach their full potential.
